We have represented Berner Ltd., a family business established in 1883, in intellectual property matters and the protection of such reputed and well-known brands and designs as Lasol, Nokian Jalkineet and LV. The story of the family enterprise Berner Ltd. started in 1883, and the product selection has since expanded from groceries to very famous international consumer and professional products. In 2016, the turnover of Berner Ltd. was EUR 314.4 million and its 546 employees were located not only in Finland but also in Sweden and the Baltic region in Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia.
The matter covers the complete prosecution, registration and protection of IPRs, including designs, of established family business involved in various product selections in consumer markets, while taking into account the cross-border perspectives.
